Last leg

Just under 24 hours after leaving Chch airport we arrived in the skies above Hanoi. The trip fromTaipei toHanoi as around three hours and the first leg since Christchurch to Aucklandthat was in th daylight. The last airlinesupperof seafood and rice has been demolished along with some rather nice red wine ( I do love how societies rules for hours of drinking disappear when travelling through the clouds) Our journey following the darkness is over and the true adventure is about to begin. We may have a nana nap first of course! Right now we are defending back to earth. Everyone has received the orders to return to their seats, returntheirtraysand window shades to the correct position and keep their seat belts fastened. My ears are screeching and popping while the glamorous hostesses do their  final inspection before strapping themselves in. We are due to land at approximately 10.30 am (we finished our last glass of red half an hour ago! Oh the shame of drinking before 11am!).
