Hanoi Hell Airport

After waiting for two and a half hours after landing we finally had our visas issued. They called one person at a time and the arrivals area was packed with at least five flights that arrived around the time we did. The lines to get our passports stamped and out the door were huge. There were no toilets or p,aces to purchase a drink in this crowded area.

We finally got out 29.5 hours after leaving our house inOxford and found we were the last people from our flight to do so. Our luggage was no longer on the belt so we had to hunt that down. 

The ride we had arranged with our hotel was not there and we could not get on the Internet to find what it was called for ages. Right now e are in a taxi driving through a pretty misty city towards a bed!
